2022 EXHIBITION AT THE QUEENS MILL

THE DETAILS

Castleford Camera Club will be displaying photographic artwork from our members in the iconic Queens Mill in our hometown of Castleford. The Queens mill has an almost majestic status in and around Castleford with its significance of history, it’s heritage and  basting that it is the worlds largest stone ground flour mill with over 20 pairs of stones.

The Queens Mill is located right in the heart of Castleford overlooking the river Aire, Just a 5 minute walk from the town centre, it’s location and history is a fantastic location for an exhibition from a long running Camera Club such as ours. We are truly honored to be able to host an event in building with such history.

As a club we have 27 members most of which are from the local area of Castleford. Our members will be displaying their photographic works in a traditional print format. Each member will be displaying 3 pieces of their artwork choice on the walls of the mill.

SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE

The first evening of our exhibition will be opened by a special guest and we would encourage all members of our club to be present on such a special occasion for our club.
